The “Leave a Nest Grant” established by Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. is a research grant program to support young researchers who are passionate about their own research and carry out original research in order to realize the development of science and technology and contribute to the earth. As one of the legs of the Leave a Nest Grant, the 59th Forest Science Award is now open for applications.

As forests continue to decline, there is growing interest in forests from the perspectives of climate change, disasters, increasing carbon dioxide emissions, and biodiversity. With a deadline of Tuesday, January 31, 2023, we have issued a broad call for research that can redefine the relationship between humanity and forests for the future from a scientific perspective.

The results of the screening will be announced around March 2023.
